Savanna

This recorder is placed in one of our restoration areas — Hidden Oaks Savanna.

Prairie

This recorder is in the middle of one of our planted prairie reconstruction projects.  We call this one Buffalo Ridge Prairie.

Forest

This recorder is on a path through a wooded area which doesn’t have one of Marcie’s nifty pages because this area isn’t being actively managed (except for removing invasive plants like Garlic Mustard).

Glen

Same here — a tiny creek runs through a side valley, creating a wonderful spot to sit and observe the critters.  Alas no management, so no management-history page.

House

This was our first recorder.  It’s on the driveway just before arriving at our house.  The planted prairie in the foreground is the very southern end of the 3 Finger Valley planted prairie, and the wooded area behind it is the east side of the Indian Grass Point restoration.

Wetland

This recorder is in the middle of our Wetland restoration.  The planted Pine Point Prairie is the open slope behind it, and the hilltop is Big View Prairie
